KDT August Update

Dear The Best Readers on the Planet,

Podium Publishing has given me a release date for the audiobook of KDT Book 1, Free the Darkness. It will be available for download from Audible.com on August 30th. It should be available for pre-order about a week in advance. Podium is estimating that Book 2, Reign of Madness, will be released sometime in October.

Award-winning voice actor Nick Podehl performed both books, and he is phenomenal! I have listened to Book 1, and it truly sounds like an entire cast is performing. I don’t think you guys will be disappointed. I look forward to hearing your thoughts once you’ve had a chance to listen to them.

The books also have new cover art, which will be included in the audiobook, e-book update (newly edited), and print versions. Artist Christian McGrath brings our imaginings to life in a stunning portrayal of our MC who appears imposing, poised, and full of expertly contained destructive power. You might visit Chris’s website to see what other masterful artistry he’s produced. If you are a fan of this genre, you will likely recognize his artwork from some of your other favorite books!

For all the readers patiently awaiting Book 3, I am hoping to release the e-book by the end of the year. The greatest compliment is simply that so many of you are eager to read the next chapter in the world of KDT.

On that note, I continue to enjoy your discussions both here on my website and in my Amazon author forum. There are now a few hundred comments in those forums! It has to be one of the most active author forums on Amazon. It’s like having a book club, and I love it! I especially enjoyed the comparative analysis of Rezkin and Don Quixote. If you haven’t checked it out, you should pop in, see what others are saying, and maybe even add your own voice!

You can also find me on Goodreads, Facebook, and Twitter.

  1. That’s great news about the imminent audible release of your books. Can you clear up one thing for me, you mention an August release on audible.com, but does that mean only .com? If that’s the case have you any idea when your books might be released on audible.co.uk?

    • The release date should be about the same for all audible stores including UK. It may vary slightly for technical reasons with Amazon, but it will likely be the same. Thanks for asking! 🙂
