26 Oct Announcements and Book Tour! Come see me in a city near you!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update. (I’m a little more active on Twitter and occasionally on Facebook.)
Everyone is excited about the next King’s Dark Tidings book, I know, and I’m working on it. I promise! KDT will continue. In the meantime, I have several announcements including a new book release and public appearances. 🎉
My new book Fate of the Fallen, published by Tor Books, will be released on November 5th. That’s less than 10 days away! It is currently available for pre-order in print, e-book, and audiobook!
Fate of the Fallen enjoyed an early release as October’s book of the month by the Book of the Month Club (BOTM).
It’s a grande new world with fresh characters, plenty of twists, a wild magic system, absurd gods, horrible monsters, and the undead! 🧟♀️ 😱
If you like KDT, please check out this exciting story. I think you’ll enjoy it, and the success of this book depends on you! I appreciate your support, readership, and patience in allowing me this chance to take a break and explore something new.
READ the first four chapters here!
LISTEN to an excerpt from the audiobook here!
The audiobook is narrated by the phenomenal Nick Podehl, who you may know from his performances of my King’s Dark Tidings series and Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss.
I’m going on book tour! I’ll be visiting several cities in November with Jenn Lyons, author of The Ruin of Kings and The Name of All Things. We’ll be appearing for readings, conversations, Q&A, and book signings, so please come see us!

Suppose I shall be waiting for both Dark Tidings book 5 in the series and the next Kingkiller Chronicle book. I was not expecting to get all wrapped up with the characters you and Patrick created. Fate of the Fallen will fill a bit of my time:-) glad you were able to explore:-). My boys got me hooked on Kingkiller Chronicle and I returned the favor getting them on Dark Tidings.
Sorry I missed the book signing in Seattle.

When you say working on the next King’s Dark Tidings book, do you mean A Mage of No Renown, or Book 5? I’m excited for both, just curious if Wesson’s prequel is still planned to be the next release. Thanks!
