December Update 2016

I’m sorry that I will be unable to release Book 3 this month. I think most of you agree that you would prefer a good book rather than one that is quickly written. Book 3 is going to be a bit longer than expected, but I think few will complain. Hopefully, you will find it to be just as exciting and intriguing as the first two.

(If you commence cabbage throwing, please toss in a bit of corned beef and soda bread so I can make a meal of it.)

Frequently Asked Questions:

Question: How soon will the audiobook be released after the ebook?

Answer: I try to release the ebook as soon as it is ready. This means that I will send it to the  audiobook publisher (Podium Publishing) for recording at the same time, and hopefully it will meet with their scheduling. I expect the audiobook will be released within a few months of the ebook.

Question: When will the books be available in print?

Answer: I have been unsatisfied with the self-publishing options that I have researched to date. I am still considering the best options to bring the series to print, including traditional publishing.

For some reason I don’t think even Caydean can stop Rezkin. Am I sensing a “Ashai vs the neighboring kingdom” kind of plot. I hope so because I would love to see those other kingdoms as well.

Can’t wait for Book 3. So excited!

Ps. Dont go easy on Marcum hehe 😺

Kel, I have never written to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we read, or why we watched TV. All that matters is that we waited read. That’s what’s important! Reading pleases you, Kel… so grant me one request. Grant me a third book soon and many more besides! And if you do not listen, then the HELL with you!

I am not normally a reader of fantasy books because after Lord of the Rings I have usually found them disappointing, but I have thoroughly enjoyed these two books and I think I’m addicted now! I don’t think I can bring myself to read any other fantasy series whilst waiting for book 3 so I’ll just have to be patient.

I’m glad I could entice you over to the dark side, at least for my books. There are a lot of great fantasy series out there, but I admit that I have often been disappointed as well. Thank you for taking a chance on KDT.

60 years of reading fantasy. Embarrassing? Yet your first book rivals ‘Enders Game’ in the cruelty we inflict on our children in the name of defense. You read Skinner. Few authors can make a reader fall into the psychological angst of a protagonist. The plot is ingenious, the writing exceptional, but please get spell check.
Don’t cater to your audience, write from your heart and mind, and take care of your child. Live well.
