Posted at 17:23h, 13 SeptemberI’m kinda disappointed with the whole Frisha thing. I mean, I can understand her and Rez breaking apart, but the way you wrote it made it seem like it would be a temporary thing, something that would be overcome in time. However, I dunno if I missed something, but I had absolutely NO inkling of the whole Frisha/Tieran relationship. At least, in my eyes, it literally appeared within one chapter where they started kissing and dating. He suddenly told her he’s loved her for a long time (which was never foreshadowed in any way) and she suddenly realized she wanted it (which again was never foreshadowed in any way), and they just decided to be together almost instantly.
If I’m being honest, the only way this will ever make sense to me is if it’s the fort somehow screwing with their emotions, because besides that, it makes none. :/
Anywho, besides the fact that people give away crowns and kingships way too easily in this place, it was yet another fun read. So short though! These books don’t really feel like a full meal. More like novellas. I’ve been waiting patiently for book 5 but you’ve been taking SOOOOOO LOOOONG.

Posted at 00:22h, 12 SeptemberI wish that you would of kept Frisha around for Rez it seems kinda silly that you gave her to Tieran. However it was a great book! Can’t wait for book 5!

Posted at 01:28h, 13 SeptemberExactly my thoughts! I was so upset at end of book…I understand suspense but not where it leaves you angry and concerned for Rez

Posted at 10:27h, 13 SeptemberI like how it was done and this book resolves his companions doubts about him, solidifying their support or rejection of him. That chapter of the book is closed, and he can now move on to other plot points. I am happy for the characters and how they ended up.

Posted at 04:53h, 15 SeptemberI have a suspicion he ends up with his mentors niece, Mage Threll, she’d be “drawn to him” in all his personas from the time she first met him.

Posted at 21:56h, 23 SeptemberJosh, if you remember in Book 2 Rezkin decided if he could not have Frisha he would make sure she was accepted by the peerage and married well. I saw the relationship between Frisha and Tieran growing at the end of Book 3. My question for Book 4 is – What will Sheila say?

Posted at 01:01h, 24 SeptemberAnd if u remember correctly he treated her more or less like pro in the 1st book and all but ignored her in the second book until they reminded him he still owed her a dress. I dunno I maybe misguided but I feel like they have both betrayed him imo

Posted at 18:36h, 11 SeptemberAny ideas on a time frame for book 5? Book 4 definitely left us hanging, so at least a general time frame for book 5 would be greatly appreciated! The series is great, and I can’t wait to read what happens next.

Why did you end the book the way you did? Ugh I suffer from depression and books take me to another world but ending it the way you did leaves me in a panic and depressed 😦 Ugh I hope wait won’t be as long as it was between 3 and 4! Please don’t take too long.
