Rezkin is an elite warrior who aims to restore order in Ashai after Caydean’s attack on the King’s Tournament transformed former allies and trading partners into enemies. With no army and only a ragtag group of refugees, Rezkin must wrest control of the kingdom from the mad and powerful usurper, who seems bent on destruction, and this may not be the biggest challenge. If he fails, the kingdom will be ripped apart, and Rezkin will have violated Rule 1—to protect and honor his friends—leaving him without country, purpose, or honor.

Audiobook to be released in January 2018.

Another great book. Finished it way too fast though and now I’m sad to be done. Waiting for the audio so I can go back and catch details I missed the first time through. I liked that we got to revisit characters from book 1. I wondered what was happening with them. I also enjoyed the direction this book took and the introduction of several new characters. It gives the readers so much to ponder while waiting for book 4. It also allows for a much longer story with the added plot and character development. This book seemed darker as we truly examine Rez. It leaves much for contemplation about what his life was like and the difficulty he really faced as a person. I truly hope he can overcome and find peace with who he is. I also thought the ending was abrupt. I suppose considering all that is happening it was necessary. I honestly expected it to end with him leaving for Gendishen. No matter the ending you’ve done a great job creating a fantastic world and characters we want to get to know. It makes for an entertaining read. Thank you for your hard work and efforts. It is very much appreciated Kel. Looking forward to book 4 and hoping it comes sooner rather than later!

Very nicely put. I agree whole heartedly, Kel is adding soo much more dimension to, and opening so many more doors for more books!

Great job! On Amazon, I gave you 5-stars for 1-the varied settings and storylines. I was too delighted to meet up with Adsden and Bennie again. 2-the expanded magic systems. Now, Wesson may have figured out why Rezkin just pushes through wards. 3-the improved character development and embellishment. Tieran’s seeds! His hair finally gets mussed. 4-the presence of multi-dimensional women. The brothel babes and sweet Netty were wonderful additions. Looks like Frisha’s second guessing may cost her the crown. 5-the vulnerabilities of the hero. About time! And 6-the plot twists. Bilior is taking them thru a circuitous route. I started reading Monday and finished Tuesday. Except for Robin Hobb’s finale Assassin series, no one has gotten me to do that. Keep it coming and thanks for putting the time in for Rezkin. You have created a legendary fantasy character.

I just finished the Legend of Ahn, and I can easily that this series as quickly become one of my favorites. I’m in love with all the characters and the way they are interacting. I love that Reskin always seems in control of the situation when some of the time he’s making it up as he goes along. I also enjoy the world it seems genuinely interesting, and I enjoyed getting to see more of it in this book. I can’t wait to see how the story progresses, and I hope to hear news about book 4 soon.
