October Update 2016

October Update 2016

When is Book 3 coming out? That is the question. Everyone wants to know. If they don’t, then you haven’t convinced them to read KDT yet. That’s my hope anyway, because the alternative is sad.

Here is the news:

  • I am pushing hard for a December release of Book 3. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.  If for some terrible reason I don’t make the deadline, please don’t throw cabbages at me. It will come soon after. (No, we will not be waiting for years wondering if the author was sucked into an alternative universe.)
  • The Free the Darkness (KDT Book 1) audiobook made Best Seller in Audible’s SciFi & Fantasy and has already received over a thousand ratings! Click here to find it on Audible.com.
  • The Reign of Madness (KDT Book 2) audiobook was released on October 4th. On the first day, it ranked #12 Best Seller across ALL titles on Audible! Thank you, listeners! Click here to find it on Audible.com.

As always, I enjoy hearing from you guys! Keep reading and listening!

I absolutely loved both books. I’m anxiously awaiting the third but hopefully not final installment. You sir know how to tell a rip roaring, page turner of a story.

Thank you for your enthusiasm for my books. I’m glad you like them. There will definitely be more than three!

I purchased book one on audible to keep myself awake while driving. I found myself digging out headphones to continue listening constantly. I finished both books in four days and eagerly await the third book.
I wholeheartedly offer my services to proofread/edit for grammar and spelling.

Just wanted to say I found these books because of Nick’s narrating on Audible. I listened to the Kingkiller Chronicle he did and liked his story telling and saw he did your book series so I figured I would check it out.

I am hooked, I am so glad I did. Thank you for taking the time and effort to create the story and characters for me to enjoy.

I look forward to the release of your next book and whatever may follow. Hopefully I can pick a few followers to Rez’s call before the next book!

I do wonder if book 3 will conclude the story or will we see more. I just finished the first two books in one week man, books are well paced never a dull moment describing some unnecessary details. BAM BAM BAM! Its all just great plot about a cool dude who is tryna make is way in the world. I saw it as Player 1 from a game like elder scrolls, just running around taking over guilds on a whim while a bigger story unfolds when we get to it.

Absolutely loving this series. Started the first audio book a couple days ago, and have since listened to both of them, the second one for the entire day today until I finished it. I’m somewhat confused now though. As I’ve finished the second book, I want to listen to the third immediately. Please take responsibility.

I take full responsibility for the writing of Book 3, but I cannot take responsibility for the actions of the characters. Most of them are pretty stubborn, especially Rezkin, who mostly does whatever he wants.

Just realized even if the book comes out in December, the audio book probably won’t come out until a few months after. Darn…

Not that I have anything against the written version. It’s just I’ve experienced the first two thirds (hah see what i did there? Yeah, you saw what I did there. ) of the story in audio format, and while i actually have not been a fan of this particular narrator before, he’s done an excellent job this time around, especially with the lead role.

Here’s hoping the audio book doesn’t come out too much longer after the original release date… speaking of which, what day did you say it was releasing on again?…..

😉 Keep up the great work!!
