Readers often ask me for reading suggestions or about books that are like KDT, so I have put together a list of books you might enjoy. The list is far from complete, but I could probably go on for days. For most of these, I’ve fallen behind in the series and haven’t read all the books. I’ve been busy. 😃
Please feel free to comment and add your favorites to the list!

Posted at 20:36h, 27 SeptemberI just found the KDT series about week ago. I’m curious why the 4th book in KDT had a cliffhanger when the previous books didn’t? I have to say I was frustrated by some of the actions and decisions made by the characters within this last book and the ending was the metaphorical cherry on top. I was also surprised that the last book was published 2 yrs ago. I hope the next book will be coming out soon. I’m looking forward to seeing how things play out. Personally I hope Rezkin figures out his feelings cause I’m tired of most his friends thinking he’s heartless – either that or he gets new friends that understand him and are grateful for the things his done for them. Truly Frisha is the worst offender of them all.

It is very similar to KDT as in a over powered protagonist that is somewhat confused about his objective.

Posted at 07:07h, 19 MayAlong with ANY book by Brandon Sanderson….. (Do you guys agree with me that Brandon should mentor Patrick Rothfuss, Scott Lynch, and G.R.R.M? I’m sure he doesn’t have the time, but does more in a year what the other three….Well, you get my point). … I heartily recommend books by Joe Abercrombie. I guess it’s considered GrimDark, but I love his realistic view on things and his dark humor.
Also, a good audiobook I haven’t heard much about, but one that I stumbled upon and am really enjoying, is ‘The Licanius Trilogy’, by James Islington. Really good story, with the added bonus of having a great narrator.

Posted at 15:56h, 24 SeptemberThat’s funny, I actually thought the same thing about Brandon Sanderson mentoring Patrick Rothfuss! I also need to add “Dawn of Wonder” to the list of awesome books that I am waiting for the sequels to come out . . .

Posted at 08:41h, 21 MarchKel Kade – please write more. I get you probably need to take some time off for “life”, but… Maybe you can instead write more?
Also – are there more books coming in you KDT series? I keep checking back at audibles – no hint there will be.

Posted at 18:18h, 25 JulyYes, there will be many more books in KDT. This year has been crazy and miserable, and I haven’t been able to meet my goals. They WILL come, though.
